Medical unit of Ghurki Hospital is a Multi Specialty Unit and comprises Gastroentrology, Psychiatry, Diabetes, Endocrinology and Dermatology.
Gastroenterology unit at Ghurki Hospital has a state of the art Endoscopy Unit which provides both diagnostic and therapeutic services like gastroscopy, clonoscopy, stricture dilatation, band ligation, injection clenotherapy and foreign body removal. ERCP has been started since 2007.
Endocrinology Clinicwas established in 2006 by Prof Mahmood Ali Malik. Now the clinic is run by Dr. Asad Ullah Ijaz. The clinic provides diagnostic facilities & treatment of common endocrine disorders like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, growth hormone deficiency and growth hormone replacement Cushing’s disease and Cushing’s syndrome, Addison’s disease and other endocrine disorders. The clinic OPD is once weekly on Wednesday, while emergency cover is provided round the clock and facility for admitting the patients to wards and ICU exists.
Diabetic Clinic of Ghurki Hospital was established in September 2003, this clinic is run by Dr. Sarah Shoaib Qureshi. This Clinic provides consultancy services regarding diet, self-monitoring of glucose and medicine. This clinic is also tertiary referral centre for endocrine and metabolic diseases from all over the country.
Cardiology Clinic was established in June 2011. The clinic is run by Dr. Suhail Nasir. The clinic provides consultancy services regarding diagnosis and control of hypertension, ischemic heart diseases, diagnosis and non-invasive management of vascular heart diseases. This clinic is actively involved in CME activities with the family physicians furthering their knowledge, and helping them in providing better care to the community.

The clinic provides consultancy services for patients of masculo skeletal and auto immune disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gouty arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosis, etc.
