Cardiac surgery

Ghurki Trust & Teaching Hospital (GTTH) stands as a landmark in Pakistan’s humanitarian and surgical history, and it is both a privilege and a source of deep humility for me to contribute to its progress. When I was entrusted with the responsibility of establishing and leading the hospital’s first cardiac surgery center, my sense of gratitude and joy was profound. What began as a vision has, through years of unwavering commitment and perseverance, evolved into a first-tier center equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, capable of delivering outcomes on par with the most advanced heart surgery programs in the world.
At our center, we are dedicated not only to performing established cardiovascular procedures, such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), arterial reconstructions, and valve replacements, but also to advancing minimally invasive techniques, ensuring access for both the privileged and the underserved.Looking ahead, our aspirations include introducing robotic cardiac surgery and heart transplantation, with the ultimate goal of positioning GTTH as the most advanced and comprehensive cardiac surgery center in the region
