• Storage of sterile supplies in a controlled environment to maintain sterility.
• Distribution of sterile materials to all clinical and surgical areas on a scheduled or emergency basis.
• Infection control compliance through regular quality checks, biological indicators, and sterility audits.
• Support in surgical scheduling by ensuring the availability of appropriate sterile instrument sets.
• Education and training of CSSD technicians in proper handling, sterilization techniques, and hospital hygiene protocols.
