In June 2024, a 60-year-old female patient with stage 4 breast cancer (CA breast) arrived at Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital. While her primary disease had been managed, an MRI revealed a daunting challenge 60 metastatic tumors had spread to her brain. Managing such an extensive tumor burden required strategic planning and expertise. Under the leadership of Dr. Ayesha, Head of Department (HOD), our team proceeded with CyberKnife treatment. The patient received 22.5 Gray (Gy) in 5 fractions on alternate days. Fortunately, she had previously undergone whole brain radiation (WBR) with 30 Gy in 10 fractions, which helped control the disease and prevent the further spread of metastases.
