Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital (GTTH)pharmacy focuses on a continuous and complex optimization and individualization of pharmacotherapy and use of health aids. GTTH Pharmacy initiated his services in January 2015, after joint efforts of GTTH and Lahore Pharmacy College, Lahore Medical and Dental College Lahore. Muhammad Naeem, Director Accounts and Projects GTTH and Dr. Sarwat Ali, Associate Professor Lahore Pharmacy College put endless efforts in the development of Pharmacy GTTH. Mr. Muhammad Tahir Aziz, Ex Associate Director Pharmacy and Ambulatory Services, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Center, Lahore, Chief Operating Officer, SKM Peshawar, provided technical consultation throughout the project. Pharmacy services are under the supervision of Dr. Khurram Ijaz, Medical Director, Muhammad Naeem COO and Dr. Muhammad Awais, Head Pharmacy Services. Hospital Management Information System has become an integral part of health care. It is linked to the health informatics that focuses mainly on the clinical functioning of hospitals including medication use and administrative services. An advanced online ordering service is now available for hospital use. A generic version of widely used medications, approved by Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee is formulated to ensure safe, cost effective and quality use of medications.
